How do I fix the warmer on a Bunn coffee pot?
Apr 09, 2009 by jenstartsover | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Everything else works dainty on it and I hate to get rid of it? It brews wonderfully, but will not keep the coffee warm any longer.
The warmer would have a heater and a shamed thermostat that would control the temperature.
Most likely the thermostat has failed.
You could find another discarded unit that may have the part needed.
I wouldn't approve it unless you know what your doing. Coffee pots have been known to start fires.

how do you clean a bunn coffee pot?
Apr 24, 2008 by Jennifer R | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
A intermingling of 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water is the best way to clean a drip coffee maker. Mix a full pot of the vinegar and water mixture, discharge it in your water reservoir and turn the coffee maker on. Once the mixture has run completely through, it's important to turn the drip coffee maker off and let it deliberate for 15 to 20 minutes. Pour the vinegar and water mixture down the drain. If you are cleaning a coffee maker that hasn't been cleaned regularly, recite this step again with a fresh vinegar and water mixture. Next, rinse the pot out thoroughly with warm, plain water. Then, fill the branch water reservoir again with clean water and turn the coffee maker on to start the rinsing process. To make sure all of the vinegar and not make sense solution is completely gone repeat the rinsing process one more time after letting the pot cool for 15 to 20 minutes. This is how to depollute a coffee maker the right way. Cleaning your drip coffee maker on a monthly basis will make it last longer and keep your coffee tasting the A- it can possibly be.

this waxen chunky build up in the part where the water goes. what can i use to flush this out?
One part vinegar to two parts be unfeasible. Fill tank and brew as normal. Follow with two tanks of water run through to flush clean. This usually does a zealous job cleaning out the mineral deposits (white build-up) from the tank.
