Help! I put my silverplate salad spoons in the dishwasher?

and they came out a goldish color - what do I do? How can I restore them to the polished finish?

You can try this, I would try it on one or two pieces first .
Stew water and 1/2teaspoon salt with 1 to2 teaspoons of baking soda. Place tarnished silverware in pan with boiled combination and a piece of aluminum foil. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse the silverware well, then use a soft cloth to buff dry.

You can try silvery polish but it might not work. Usually, you can only put sterling silver in the dishwasher.... sorry for the bad news...
