Neediness help with some bone china that i have been given.
Its a full tea set in brown, gold and white.
When the tea vups are held up to the light you can see the head of a asian lady.
The tea pot has timely stamped on the bottom.
What make is and wheres it from?

20thCentury Taisho Eggshell Kutani Lithopane, Japanese. The Lithopane is referring to the envision in the botton of the cups and jugs. I think I must have a similar set to you. My mother in law lived in japan for 8 yrs after the war and this was one of the beautiful china sets she brought family to Australia.

20thCentury Taisho Eggshell Kutani Lithopane, Japanese. The Lithopane is referring to the prototype in the botton of the cups and jugs. I think I must have a similar set to you. My mother in law lived in japan for 8 yrs after the war and this was one of the beautiful china sets she brought relaxed to Australia.

I have a Duchess Daulton Lambethware (heavy china) tea pot. My daughter accidentally put the lid on backwards and now its stuck. I'm not sure how to get it off without breaking it. Ideas?
